I often muse on how simultaneously difficult and easy it is to connect with others through electronic methods.

As an artist, my art means very little without connecting with someone else. Of course, the art and music I create has meaning to me, but usually only during the process of creation. After that, my instinct is to send them out into the world, for others to find meaning.

Electronic communication means I can share my art with the world, but means there is a lack of balance between those who experience my art in person and those who experience it electronically. I’m still not sure what that balance should be, but I’m sure I’ll find it someday.
